Hosting a Supply Drive

Follow these steps & your supply drive will be a piece of cake.

1. Let Us Know

Notify Backpacks 4 Kids AZ that you plan to host a supply drive.

2. Select a Timeframe

Choose start and end dates for your supply drive. Supply drives often work well when coordinated with other notable dates like holidays or back to school seasons.

3. Plan the Details

Identify your participant audience (school, work, religious group) and make a plan for outreach. Print our flyers and share our digital graphics (in the Supply Drive Kit) to let your group know about the supply drive and who we are. Determine your drop-off location or method of collecting supplies–and let your audience know.

4. Remind, Remind, Remind

Send regular reminders to your group during the drive. And send several “last chance” emails as the drive comes to a close.

5. Deliver Supplies

Coordinate a delivery with Backpacks 4 Kids AZ.

6. Thank Your Supporters

Please be sure to acknowledge everyone who participated in or supported your event and let them know how much you appreciate their help.
